Hey guys check this dude out, his name is Aric Improta. I don't know much about him but this is seriously one of my favorite drum solos ever. And I'v watched a ton of solos haha. So yeah check it out beautiful people peace :D
This week I decided to pick a song from Avenged Sevenfold (A7X). They are my second favorite band ever after Chevelle. And it's also the band that my idol The Rev is from. They are a much different type of rock though. A7X is a thrash/metalcore band. They are a more fast paced upbeat but dark type of metal that really gets your head bobbing. People who don't like this type of music might mistake them for being your stereotypical metal band. But I don't like those type of bands, I like bands that are actually good at their instruments, that excel at them actually. And Avenged Sevenfold is a prime example. All of the members: M. Shadows (vocals), The Rev (drums/percussion/piano/backing vocals), Johnny Christ (bass), Synester Gates (Lead guitar/backing vocals), and Zachy Vengence (rhyme guitar/backing vocals) are absolutely insane at what they do. Listen to any of their songs and try to pick out an instrument in particular and you will be amazed (especially the drums ;D).
So the song I picked is not your normal A7X song, I picked the one that I like most right now. It's called Gunslinger. This song is written from the perspective of a man in the military, it's about how he misses home and clings to the thought of it to get through what he's doing. I like it a lot because I have two very close cousins that are in the United States Navy and I miss them both very much. The music itself is different from their other songs, it starts off with a really catchy southern sounding guitar lick that is fun to listen to. No drums, no bass, no lead guitar. It helps you focus on the lyrics more and actually understand the meaning. About halfway through tho after the second chorus I believe it catches you off guard very abruptly and kicks into full Avenged Sevenfold mode. With a raunchy guitar riff and much heavier vocals. I love songs that start soft and get really heavy so I really really like this song. So without further ado here is the song :D
Have a good one beautiful people :]

This week i'm doing a song by my favorite metalcore band, Atreyu. They are a band that mixes heavy heavy screaming with really super catchy melodic clean vocal chorus. All the while with screeching lead guitar and awesome solos. The song Ex's and Oh's is, if i'm not mistaken, a breakup song. It's a song that gets your head bobing and makes you wanna move. So listen and enjoy. Adios beautiful people :D
